Jennifer Saunders played Silurian 2 in the Doctor Who skit The Silurian Disruption, which she wrote with Dawn French under the pen name French and Saunders. The skit was unaired, though it was to feature on her show, French and Saunders.
The skit was released as an extra on the VHS of The Curse of Fatal Death and the DVD of Vengeance on Varos, two different Doctor Who serials. She is best known as the star and creator of the BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous, alongside Joanna Lumley, Julia Sawalha and June Whitfield.
