Pepe Poupee (sometimes credited as Pepi Poupée[1]) played one of the Chumblies in the Doctor Who television story Galaxy 4.
In 1971, she was the sole woman among the ten Oompa Loompas in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, cast alongside fellow Chumbley operator Angelo Muscat. As noted by Rusty Goffe,[2] she was one of three Oompa Loompa actors still surviving in 2005.[3]
In 2013, script editor Donald Tosh reminisced that Poupee had "ruled the other Chumblies with a rod of iron."[4]
