Gargantosaurs were dinosaur-like creatures that inhabited Gallifrey long before the Time Lords did. Plutar and Sillarc travelled back in time in a TARDIS to the Gargantosaurs' era, where two Gargantosaurs fought one another. One of them picked up the TARDIS Sillarc stole and dropped it after being punched in the face. This moved its location in space, causing the malfunctioning TARDIS that couldn't travel in space to land in the middle of Sillarc's hypnotic distraction when they tried returning to Sillarc's ship.
