The Brecon Beacons were a mountainous area in South Wales.

Gabriel Sneed assumed that the Gelth were from Brecon when the Ninth Doctor said they came from "up there". (TV: The Unquiet Dead)

The village of Brynblaidd was in Brecon. (TV: Countrycide)
