A possible ninth incarnation of the Doctor was seen by the Eighth Doctor in the Tomorrow Window. The figure shrugged and gave the Eighth Doctor an apologetic, lopsided smile. He had unruly, curly hair and resembled a scruffy student. (PROSE: The Tomorrow Windows)
