Ian Richardson CBE (7 April 1934-9 February 2007[1]) narrated Dæmos Rising.

He was best known for his role as Francis Urquhart in the House of Cards trilogy. He was also the father of Miles Richardson who appeared in Dæmos Rising. He was also the father-in-law of Beverley Cressman.

Richardson was a founding member of the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1960.
