Edwin Richfield (11 September 1921-2 August 1990[1]) appeared in two Doctor Who stories: as Captain John Hart in The Sea Devils and Mestor in The Twin Dilemma.

Career

Richfield's best known role was probably Steve Gardiner, the titular "odd man" of the title, in The Odd Man. Richfield played the role from series two onwards, replacing Geoffrey Toone, who had played Gardiner in the first season.

He also appeared as Inspector Mornay in ITC's Interpol Calling, Mr Pomeroy in R3 and Frank Chapman in Harriet's Back in Town. He was also the only actor besides Patrick Macnee to appear in all six seasons of The Avengers, playing different characters each time.
