A Weeping Angel was present in Medderton in 1967 and had positioned itself in the local graveyard.
Miss Hayward had noticed it and tried to warn Reverend Shaw about its presence, which he waved off as "superstitious" myths at first. But after counting the gravestones, he quickly noticed it. As he got closer to it, it sent him back in time. (TV: Village of the Angels)
