He briefly studied English at Newcastle Polytechnic, and gained a BA in Social Science from Manchester Polytechnic. John Joseph Bishop (born 30 November 1966[1]) played Dan Lewis in Doctor Who.
He is an English stand-up comedian and actor. He worked as a salesman before entering the comedy industry in the early 2000s. He rose to fame relatively quickly, achieving national stardom and has fronted various television series of his own, as well as performing multiple arena tours across Britain.
