Synopsis

Starring Keira Knightley, Michael Sheen and KSI among many other special guests, prepare to see your favourite celebrities in the most unlikely roles!

After a year like no other, prepare for the biggest blockbuster movie NEVER made (yet) with 2020: The Movie. Part biopic, part disaster film, this new release turns movie stars into unlikely everyday British heroes.

Plot

A narrator provides a voiceover on a trailer for 2020: The Movie, which is coming soon-ish. Footage plays of deserted parts of London and a motorway, before cutting to Russell Brand playing Joe Wicks, a fitness instructor. Then the trailer cuts to Keira Knightley playing the woman who can't take it anymore, who shouts "I can't take it anymore!"

Now it cuts to her next door neighbour with three kids who really really really can't take it anymore, portrayed by Carey Mulligan, who is visibly about to have a breakdown.

Now Tina, played by Anna Friel, becomes the first woman to cut her own hair, but fails miserably, and tries to find a shavers or dog clippers to shave it all off.

Hodie Whittaker and Mandip Gil play the Doctor and... "another Doctor". They hear clapping, which the second Doctor believes is for Bake Off, but the Doctor identifies it as the 8PM clapping for carers.

Chris Whitty plays himself, and Sanjeev Bhaskar as the next slide guy. Himesh Patel as the man who froze at a bad moment on Zoom. Then it cuts to the Inventor of Zoom, played by Barry from EastEnders, reenacting the invention of Zoom.

KSI plays his business rival, Bill Gates, and is distraught that Skype is losing money due to Zoom.

Matt Lucas portrays Gary Barlow, who is recruiting; then Gary Barlow appears, playing the Other Gary Barlow.

A "local pub landlord", played by Al Murray, is in the next scene. A man asks if The George IV is open, and the landlord receives a succession of updates to the guidelines, some saying that he has to close, some saying he can remain open.

Ainsley Harriott plays the superhero Marcus Rashford, Dame Joan Collins plays the first woman to get the vaccine, who seductively speaks that she is "ready for [her] vaccine, Mr. Demille."

Finally, Michael Sheen plays COVID-19, and it begins growling. Thhe narrator concludes, hoping that there won't be a sequel. After that, a scene plays of Michael Sheen, befuddled on how he is supposed to play COVID-19.
