Major Husak was a Czechoslovakian member of UNIT. (TV: Battlefield) In 1997, he was in charge of a UNIT Czech engineering group carrying out flood relief in the Low Countries; with the bulk of European UNIT forces elsewhere, he was seconded to UNIT-UK to form an exclusion zone around Carbury. Notes
- While the bulk of UNIT soldiers are wearing contemporary British Army uniforms with blue berets, Husak and his men are wearing Czechoslovak People's Army uniforms.
- In the novelisation, Husak's group are only referred to as Czech.
