Mayflower was a human colony ship. It carried a large number of people in suspended animation. On 7 January 2321, the Sixth Doctor, Peri Brown and Frobisher landed on the Mayflower by accident. The evil immortal Seth, a.k.a. Varley Gabriel, had the Profiteer of Ephte attack the Mayflower. (COMIC: Profits of Doom!)
