Veena Brady (TV: Turn Left) was one of Donna Noble's friends.
She went on a night out with Donna, Nerys, Mooky Kahari and Mad Alice in May 2007, where they talked about the "ghosts that turned into robots", and Donna's scuba-diving holiday. (PROSE: Nerys)
Donna Noble lied to her mother Sylvia that she was going to stay at Veena's house for a bit, when she was actually on her way to travel in time and space with the Tenth Doctor. (TV: Partners in Crime)
Sylvia later phoned Veena to confirm this, but she hadn't seen "hide nor hair" of Donna. (TV: The Sontaran Stratagem)
After the Earth was transported to the Medusa Cascade and back, Veena texted Donna about the planets in the sky. However, Donna had no memory of the crisis due to her memories of her travels with the Doctor being erased. (TV: Journey's End)
Behind the scenes
