A hooded figure sent the Eleventh Doctor a psychic message to go to Skaro. He was sent on behalf of Darla von Karlsen, who wanted the Doctor to save her daughter. (WC: Asylum of the Daleks Prequel) As the Doctor would learn, Darla was in fact a Dalek puppet working for the Parliament of the Daleks, who enlisted the Doctor to destroy the Dalek Asylum.
