Opening post
One of the most contentious rules on the Wiki, that causes a lot of frustration about how exactly it should be applied, are this Wiki's image policies. This ranges from the composistion framing that is enforced to the postively archaic restrictions on filesize. The scope of this thread, however, I feel is so broad trying to determine one specific course of action is hard. Hence, I propose this thread to cover a complete overhaul to all of our image policies, in light of community consensus and even the evolution of the software and hardware these very images are hosted on.
But that leaves me with a question: where do I begin? Well, I will break down each policy, adress the faults and propose an update I am sure we can all agree on.
