"Scrat" is a title based upon conjecture.

Ice Age 2 featured a fictional squirrel that some viewers found to be annoying. (PROSE: White Canvas)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
While not identified by name in White Canvas, the mention of a squirrel is a clear reference to the sabre-toothed squirrel Scrat, a character who appeared in the Ice Age, whose storyline is often distinct from that of, for example, Manny the Mammoth.
