The Nautilus was the fictional submarine of Captain Nemo from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
In accordance with the First Doctor once mentioning that he had once been acquainted with Jules Verne for "years", (PROSE: 64 Carlysle Street) the Tenth Doctor later mentioned influencing the writing of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea on two occasions.
