The Threshold was a short story exclusivly published in the Endgame graphic novel on 7 October 2005.[source needed] Written by Scott Gray, the story detailed the story of the Threshold by recapping the comic Ground Zero.

- As his TARDIS recovers from breaking into Unconscious Mind, the TARDIS control room becomes "dark and empty" to reflect the Doctor's grief for Ace, though his grief lessens in his next incarnation.
