Queensland

Queensland was a state in the north-east of Australia.

A map of Australia. (COMIC: Operation Volcano)

The state was once visited by Nate Simms. He particularly investigated the north of the state, where he discovered the Daintree Rainforest. The Koori Aborigine peoples were resident in the area, and Simms' research into their beliefs led him to understand that Queensland's Mount Demi was the place that life began, according to all the native peoples of Australia. It was therefore a naturally attractive spot for Simms who stole his way onto the sacred site — avoiding the $10 entrance fee that he should have paid to enjoy that part of the North Queensland National Park.
