Pointless Celebrities: Doctor Who Special was the second episode of series 4 of Pointless Celebrities. It was a special edition of the BBC game show hosted by Alexander Armstrong, which featured Doctor Who actors as contestants. K9 appeared in character.

- One question concerned facts about Torchwood.
- K-9 Mark III, as voiced by John Leeson, appeared in character.
- Alexander Armstrong, who hosted the special, has also appeared in Doctor Who himself, in its spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures as voice of the main character Mr Smith and in the series proper in the same role in the story The Stolen Earth / Journey's End. He also appeared as Reg Arwell in the 2011 Christmas special, The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe.
