A matter as weighty as this should not be undertaken lightly after watching a video… If we're to put a proposal of this magnitude and severity up before the community I think it should be by someone with a thought-through rationale and proposal, we'd need a proper multi-part OPs weighing pros and cons with a clear plan for the future, etc. If other people (e.g. allegedly Bongo?) have been pondering alternatives for if we were forced to move off Fandom, ''let those people present their plans when they're ready''. A few days ago, a video was released on YouTube called "Stop Using Fandom" and has since gained over a million views. It can be watched here: [Link Redacted]. Personally, I think the video raises some interesting questions and has me wondering whether Fandom is truly the best place for this wiki. The video does include a list of other wikis that have left Fandom. But is our wiki simply too large to be recreated elsewhere? I really would like to hear other people's perspectives on this.
