Story notes
- Deptford County is a setting which recurs across many of Jeffrey Koval's stories, even involving an ARG to a degree. While most Deptford County stories aren't heavily connected beyond the shared setting, Fountain of Youth acts as a subtle sequel to The Vents. Indeed, the titular "Fountain of Youth" is the same location as the titular "Vents". Fountain of Youth also reuses the Oracle Program and the mysterious beings which The Vents calls "Children of the Vents".
Continuity
- Chris is aware that at some portions of the Totality people achieved talking to the dead. (TV: The Unquiet Dead, et al.)
- Chris recalls knowing the nature of Death. (PROSE: Timewyrm: Revelation)
- Chris recently took two partners-in-crime under his wing. (PROSE: A Bright White Crack)
- Chris jokes he might find Atlantis, or at least one of them. (TV: The Underwater Menace, The Time Monster)
