Dying to Forget, or Down the Middle: Dying to Forget, was an anthology published by Arcbeatle Press. It was an edited down version of the full anthology Down the Middle in Cwej: The Series, a spin-off starring Chris Cwej, a former companion of the Seventh Doctor.

It was comprised of 8 short stories, and featured characters and concepts from various other series, some spin-offs, and others which weren't originally connected to the DWU, but crossed over for the duration of the anthology.

Publisher's summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

Chris Cwej and his friends have settled down from some of their most daring adventures yet, and decide to take a much needed breather. Rather than dealing with the mind-boggling, life-threatening escapades they’ve grown accustomed to, Chris, Larles and Kwol find themselves in gigantic towers, small mediaeval planets, and ever shifting spaceships. But a Cwej searches for low stakes, he ends up getting more than he bargained for. With Shadow-Mantises, the reptilian Geldex, and the artificial intelligence known as HANS, his troubles are just beginning!
