Space Oddity was a two-issue comic story from the Doctor Who (2012) range.
Summary
When a cosmonaut attempts the first space walk in 1965, the rest of his crew watches in horror as he's swallowed whole by shadow. Only the Doctor can save the spacecraft and the historically important mission.
Plot
When the russians launch a 'military space mission', Dmitri goes spacewalking, and when Alexey calls him in, he didn't come. First Alexey thought tat Dmitri was making a joke, and calls that it isn't funny. Then he looks out and sees Dmitri jus a skeleton in a spacesuit. Alexey tries to radio moscow, but gets the dctor on the dead line. to be expanded.

Worldbuilding
- The Doctor guesses that the TARDIS's atmosphere has a range of 30 metres.
