Ian Barnes was the younger brother of Angie and Terry Barnes. On Halloween, 1973, his siblings introduced him to their friend, Starman, who was actually a Dalek stranded in 1973. Starman held Ian hostage to force Angie and Terry to bring him some equipment in order to repair his ship. (PROSE: The Monster in the Woods)
