So, this Time Lord has finally been given a collective (heh) name that is utilized in-story. In ''The Box of Terrors'', the Six is identified collectively as "the Multitude". That's as good of a name as any. To leave the name as it is is to risk citogenesis --I had a brief panic believing that a writer had mistaken our naming the page as "Renegade Time Lord" as to mean that the character's name was "the Renegade" before realizing that was just their means of disguising the fact that the actor was playing an incarnation of the Multitude. This should be open and shut. We've got a name. Let's make it happen. [[User:NoNotTheMemes|NoNotTheMemes]] [[User talk:NoNotTheMemes|☎]] 16:14, 20 February 2024 (UTC)

Rename

If the story Two's Company specifically uses the name "The Renegade", then I agree with the renaming of this article. Danniesen 08:41, 16 August 2023 (UTC)

Did it actually call him "The Renegade"? I remember that was what BF called Michael Moloney's character before it was announced as The Two, but I don't remember him being called that in-story 86.153.12.4talk to me

I'm quite confident that he wasn't called "the Renegade" in the story and I don't think we can assume that that was more than a descriptor used to disguise the fact that he was the Two. Jack "BtR" Saxon 19:38, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
We’ve used credit-namings before. It’s nothing new. Danniesen 19:47, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
If Maloney had been credited as "The Time Lord", we wouldn't move the page because it would just cause confusion with other Time Lords. I don't see why this would be any different. Without a dab term, I don't think using the name by which one incarnation of a character was credited to conceal their identity should be applied to the page for the Time Lord as a whole. Rename II

The Union establishes that the thirteenth incarnation of this Time Lord goes by that name: The Union. Should we take that as an official name for the incarnation? Or as a specific name for the Thirteen? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 143.58.130.130 (talk • contribs) .

It's a specific name for that incarnation, I'd say. Jack "BtR" Saxon 18:37, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
