The Eighth Doctor: Time War was an audio series prequel to The War Doctor series. It was produced by Big Finish Productions beginning in 2017 and featured Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor, Rakhee Thakrar as Bliss, Emma Campbell-Jones as Cass and Sonny McGann as Alex Campbell.

- The day The Eighth Doctor: Time War: Volume Three was released, Big Finish updated the first two volumes' covers to match the style of the new release (both the Doctor Who and the Time War logos).
