Ernest Lee "Ernie" Hudson (born 17 December 1945[1]) is an American actor who played Stuart Owens in the Torchwood story The Middle Men.
Career
Hudson has performed in a wide variety of films and television series, including Miss Congeniality, The Crow and Oz, the latter Eric Roberts also guest starring in. He has also provided voice work for a number of cartoons, particularly those based on the works of DC comics.
He is best known for the role of Winston Zeddemore, who he played in the two Ghostbusters films of the 1980s as well as Ghostbusters: The Video Game in 2009, Ghosbusters: Afterlife in 2021, and Ghostbusters: Frozen Kingdom in 2024. He also reprised the role for the video game LEGO Dimensions, which also features elements of the Doctor Who universe.
Hudson has a regular role in the 2022 Quantum Leap reboot.
