Upon realising Maestro was the child of the Toymaker, the Fifteenth Doctor recognised them as belonging to the Pantheon, the name he used for a grouping of "vast powers" who resided "beyond the universe". Maestro went on to recognise, and be cowed by, the power of the Oldest One, and also mentioned the One Who Waits, (TV: The Devil's Chord [+]Loading...["The Devil's Chord (TV story)"]) to whom the Toymaker had already referred during his game with the Fourteenth Doctor.
