The Story of Tracy Beaker is a media franchise that originated from the 1991 the children's book of the same name by Jacqueline Wilson. The series focuses around the titular character, a troubled girl who lives in a children's care home, nicknamed "The Dumping Ground", with various other children.
The original book went on to receive a number of literary sequels, as well as a popular television series that was broadcast on CBBC, which received its own set of sequels and spinoffs.
