Ivor Salter (22 August 1925-21 June 1991[1]) appeared in several Doctor Who television stories: as the Morok Commander in The Space Museum, Odysseus in The Myth Makers and Sergeant Markham in Black Orchid.

Salter's other credits included roles on Dixon of Dock Green, The Avengers, The Saint, Danger Man, Sherlock Holmes, Adam Adamant Lives! and The Sweeney. He also played Gobber Newhouse in three episodes of All Creatures Great and Small.
