Jonas Castavillian (PROSE: Destination: Skaro [+]Loading...["Destination: Skaro (short story)"]) was a Kaled scientist on Skaro in one account of the Daleks' creation, acting as an assistant to Davros in making the Mark III Travel Machine.

Castavillian thought that, as the next stage of the Kaleds' evolution, the new beings should have a name to harked back to their Kaled origins in the form of an anagram, and put forth the names "Lekad", "Adlek", "Klade" and "Edlak", but Davros dismissed them all.

When he was left alone with the Travel Machine whilst Davros answered a summons from Nyder, Castavillian witnessed the Doctor's TARDIS crash-land in the Kaled bunker, damaging the Travel Machine by severing its multi-dextrous claw. The Fourteenth Doctor emerged to apologise, but quickly got caught up in his ramblings until he noticed that he had arrived during the genesis of the Daleks and thought aloud at his luck at not being exterminated. Liking what he was hearing, Castavillian started taking notes on the words "Dalek" and "exterminated", though the Doctor, wishing to preserve the timelines and canon, told him to stop as he made to leave.
