Kaled bunker
Located four miles from the Kaled Dome, the Kaled bunker housed the Kaled Scientific Elite during the last days of the Thousand Year War.
History[[edit] | [edit source]]
By one account, the bunker came about after Davros launched a coup against the Supremo, ordering all the elite scientists and their resources to be placed away from the general populace. (AUDIO: Guilt)
When the Fourth Doctor was sent by the Time Lords to avert the creation of the Daleks, he and his companions were detained in the bunker. Though the Doctor and Harry Sullivan managed to escape to the Kaled Dome and warn the civilian government of Davros' project, Davros conspired with the Thals to destroy the Kaled Dome. Using the destruction of the Kaled people as justification, Davros unveiled his completed Daleks and launched them from the bunker against the Thal Dome. Aided by a group of Thals, the Doctor managed to bury the Daleks in the bunker for a thousand generations. (TV: Genesis of the Daleks)
Bernice Summerfield believed that the Dalek City grew upwards and outwards from the remains of the bunker. (AUDIO: The Lights of Skaro)
During the Dalek-Movellan War, the Daleks, stuck in a logical impasse against the Movellans returned to Skaro and drilled through the ruins of the bunker to retrieve Davros, hoping he could break the stalemate. (TV: Destiny of the Daleks) By one account, these events had actually happened on the planet Antalin, geo-formed to resemble Skaro as part of a complicated scheme by the Dalek Prime to save Skaro from being destroyed by the Hand of Omega, the Kaled bunker having been recreated on the copy world. Though Davros believed that Antalin might have been geo-formed, he firmly believed that he had been retrieved from Skaro. (PROSE: War of the Daleks)
Parallel universes[[edit] | [edit source]]
In the Warrior's universe, after discovering the Time Ring, the temporally active Unified Skaroan Alliance reinforced the moment outside the incubation room, ensuring that the Time Lords could not time travel back to the bunker. (AUDIO: Aftershocks)
