After the the Seventh Doctor appeared to die during surgery on 30 December 1999, Pete and Ted admitted his body to the morgue and ushered it into a refrigeration unit. For the hospital's New Year's Eve fancy dress party, Ted had intended to wear a Wild Bill Hickok costume. Before he had a chance to do so, the newly regenerated Eighth Doctor stole the outfit from his locker. He went to the party anyway, in a corpse costume; which he used to scare Pete. In one parallel universe where the Eighth Doctor married Grace Holloway, Ted and Alice were planned to have dinner with the Doctor and Grace. (COMIC: The Glorious Dead [+]Loading...["The Glorious Dead (comic story)"])
