Henry Fielding (born 22 April 1707) was a novelist and magistrate. He founded London's police force, then known as the Bow Street Runners.
In 1749, first met the Doctor in his first incarnation, who was accompanied by Dodo Chaplet.
A year or two later, during summer, he met the Sixth Doctor and Peri Brown in an adventure involving an exiled Draconian prince and, with his brother John, set up the Bow Street Runners. Some of his books were considered by Richard Pollard to be too scandalous for Charley to read. (AUDIO: The Avenues of Possibility)
