Jacqueline Rayner was an author of Doctor Who novels and audio dramas. She adapted the first series of Big Finish Bernice Summerfield audios (excluding Beyond the Sun) from their New Adventures originals. She was also the script editor for Big Finish's Companion Chronicles range.
She also served as producer for BBC Worldwide on the BBCi production of Real Time, and within Big Finish, as the executive producer for the BBC.[statement unclear] Beginning with Water Worlds in 2022, Rayner was the producer of The Sixth Doctor Adventures.
Rayner was one of a small group of female authors to receive sole credit for writing original Doctor Who novels.
She shared her birthday of 21 June with Bernice Summerfield.[1]
