Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The Doctor claims he gave Baden-Powell the idea for the Boy Scouts at Mafeking.
- Jamie uses a pen-knife.
Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Although referred to throughout as Polly, the female companion in this story is obviously meant to be Victoria Waterfield. This is likely due to stories in this annual originally having been written for Polly and Ben, before later being replaced by Jamie and Victoria, the evidence of this is detailed in The Dr Who Annual 1969#Notes.
