Promposal was a one-panel comic by Xavier Llewellyn published on their Tumblr blog, featuring Epsilon and Bibendum, characters previous introduced in Out of the Box [+]Loading...["Out of the Box (short story)"] and A World of Pure Unimagination [+]Loading...["A World of Pure Unimagination (short story)"], respectively.
Description
Epsilon promposes to Bibendum through the medium of rap, to which Bibendum remarks "wtf?".
Characters
Worldbuilding
- Epsilon is wearing a backwards baseball cap and a bloodied apron, as well as holding a microphone.
Notes
- This comic was created based on a prompt from an online "Character Headcanon Generator", the prompt being "Epsilon promposes to Bibendum by rapping.".
- The tags of the story include "#joke" and "#please do not take this seriously".
Continuity
- Epsilon was previously referenced in PROSE: Out of the Box [+]Loading...["Out of the Box (short story)"] and Love & War [+]Loading...["Love & War (short story)"] as an enigmatic Sun Builder, although this story portrays them in a comical situation at odds with their established mystique.
- Bibendum first appeared in PROSE: A World of Pure Unimagination [+]Loading...["A World of Pure Unimagination (short story)"], but this is the character's first visual appearance. Furthermore, given the nature of the story, a placement in the character's timeline is hard to distinguish.
