Why has Zoe Heriot been having nightmares about the Daleks? Who is the Doctor, a mysterious man from her past? When an evil scientist hijacks her mind to control a galaxy-conquering weapon, Zoe must stop him. First, she and the Doctor will face an enemy they had thought destroyed forever.

References
- Zoe is able to remember bits and pieces of her adventures with the Doctor (in the form of dreams), despite the erasure of her memory by the Time Lords in DW: The War Games.

Continuity
- The Doctor reassures Zoe (later in her life) that the Daleks have now really met their final end at last, but Zoe is sceptical as he has said this before... This is implied to be a reference to the Last Great Time War, and possibly it was the Ninth Doctor who told her this.
- Dalek crystals are used in a similar fashion in BFA: The Apocalypse Element.
