Mr Redpath was the grandson of Mrs Peace and he went to visit her deceased corpse in Gabriel Sneed's funeral parlour. He mourned her, during this the Gelth possessed his grandmother's body and she began strangling Mr Redpath then snapped his neck. The Gelth also later possessed his body and used him for the Gelth's intentions. He attempted to kill Rose Tyler and then spoke to The Doctor and being set free, thus becoming a corpse once more.
