Jane Grey was queen of England for nine days in 1553.
In The Shopkeeper's quest for Sarah Jane Smith and her friends to go through time to find three special objects in order to save Time, Rani Chandra was sent to 19th May 1553, the ninth and final day of Jane's reign. She was found by Mistress Ellen who believed her to be the queen's new lady in waiting. Rani played along so she could find the object, Ellen presented Rani to her who gave her a music box. Jane liked Rani because she spoke to her as a girl and not a queen and became friends with her, she told her how she never wanted to be queen. (SJA: Lost in Time)
The Doctor witnessed her execution and assisted her to go through with dignity. (VD: The Nine-Day Queen)
