- This will be the first Companion Chronicle to feature the Doctor played by one of the actors who originally portrayed him on television. It is also the first Companion Chronicle to involve more than one incarnation of the Doctor.
- Nicola Bryant has revealed that this story will disclose what "really" happened to Peri after the Trial of a Time Lord story arc.[1]
