Lady Joanna (October 1165 - 4th September 1199) was the sister of Richard the Lionheart and King John. While she was in Palestine with the former, Richard I tried to arrange to marriage between his sister and Saphadin in order to broker a peace between the English and Saladin's people, the Saracens.
