The Doctor meets "the boy who saved the Proms"

A message from the Doctor interrupts Karen Gillan, who is trying to introduce 'Amy's Theme'. The Doctor has ended up in the Royal Albert Hall in 2117. His TARDIS then transported him to an unknown location, from where he is broadcasting his message, which in turn malfunctions, turning the video upside-down. The Doctor tells the audience that the TARDIS has locked on to an engine, which has gone into overdrive, and could detonate at any moment. After failing to deactivate the overdrive, he tries to find a safer area to defuse it. He emerges into the Albert Hall, and enlists the help of a young child to help him. He uses the wi-fi in the hall to deactivate the engine, and mentions as a side-effect that ITV had been 'blown off the air'. He leaves after insulting Matt Smith for having a 'dull name', wishing the audience a good night.

  • An Ironside Dalek offers the audience tea and biscuits, and an air raid warden commands her to "put that light out" .Victory of the Daleks (Daleks vs. Spitfires).
  • Two scenes feature a similar scene to the last one from The Pandorica Opens (I Am The Doctor & The Doctor who theme)
  • The Doctor accidently pulls out a toothbrush, instead of the sonic screwdriver (DW: The Lodger).
• There is a variation of the Doctor's 'wibbly wobbly timey-wimey' quote (Wibbly Wobbly Explody Thing).
• The Planets Mars is played in this prom. The Planets Jupiter appeared in the pervious Dr. Who Prom
• The Doctor Mentions ITV has been blown off air.
