Henry VIII was the King of England from 1509 to 1547. The Doctor once argued with Henry VIII as he wanted to be sentenced to the Tower of London where the TARDIS was located. (DW: The Sensorites) However, on a later occasion the Doctor claimed that he had never met him, although he may just be referring to incarnation he was on at that time. (NA: Tragedy Day) The Doctor later mentioned having dinner with him. (NSA: Revenge of the Judoon)
