- 1967 - DW: The Underwater Menace; Episode 1 was first broadcast.
- 1974 - Paul Whitsun-Jones (Who appeared as the Squire in DW: The Smugglers and the Marshal in DW: The Mutants) died from an appendicitis.
- 1978 - DW: Underworld, Part 2 was first broadcast.
- 1990 - John Witty (Who was the voice of the Computer in DW: The Seeds of Death) died in Bristol.
- 2005 - Jack Kine died.
