- 1920 - John Dearth, who provided the voice of BOSS in DW: The Green Death and portrayed Lupton in Planet of the Spiders, was born.
- 1941 - David Ashford was born.
- 1946 - Tariq Yunus was born.
- 1965 - "Temple of Secrets", Episode 1 of DW: The Myth Makers was first broadcast.
- 1967 - Davina McCall was born
- 1976 - Part 3 of DW: The Hand of Fear was first broadcast.
- 2010 - Doctor Who Live: The Monsters Are Coming! is performed twice at the SECC in Glasgow. Once at 11:00am in a performance open only to readers of the Scottish Sun who collected tokens for free tickets, and again in the evening.[source needed]
