Hooverville was a poor village existing in the 1930s in Central Park in New York, led by Solomon; it was home to many of the homeless and poor people of that time. Although the Hoovervillians were brave and courageous against the Cult of Skaro (many of them were turned to pig-slaves, or became part of the Final Experiment) many of their lives were spared by the Daleks.
