Series 5 of The Sarah Jane Adventures is expected to air on CBBC sometime in 2011. On 4 March 2010, the BBC announced that it had officially commissioned both a 4th and 5th series of the spin-off.[1] Half of the series is being filmed in 2010 alongside Series 4.[2] With the death of Elisabeth Sladen in April 2011[3], it is unknown what will happen with this series.
