Grant was a NASA scientist who worked on the Apollo 11 mission. He found the Doctor working on Apollo 11 Rocket and questioned him alongside Gardner where they threatened to imprison him. President Nixon, River and Rory then came and spoke to Gardner and Grant and convinced them to let the Doctor go. (DW: Day of the Moon)
